SucroCorp Introduces the SucroPlus™ Ingredient Platform

SucroPlus brings the company's sweetener systems, texture ingredients and formulation guidance together into a single supply and technical service platform.

Clear glass beakers and dishes holding golden syrup, clear syrup, crystalline sweetener and fine powder arranged on a white surface.

SucroCorp today introduced SucroPlus™, a next-generation ingredient performance platform combining the company’s sweetener systems, texture and moisture ingredients, and formulation guidance into a single technical service relationship.

SucroPlus is offered to manufacturing customers as an integrated program rather than as an individual product code. Participating customers receive formulation development support, on-site technical service during production trials, and access to findings from SucroCorp’s consumer research program.

“SucroPlus is not one ingredient,” said Dr. Eleanor Whitfield-Marsh, Executive Vice President, Consumer Nutrition. “It is what happens when the ingredient, the formulation and what we know about the consumer are designed together instead of separately.”

The platform is intended to support consistency, satisfaction and repeat consumer preference across categories including beverages, baked goods, sauces, snacks and prepared foods. SucroCorp reports that early participating customers observed improvements in category performance during initial evaluation periods.

Specific SucroPlus formulations are developed under confidentiality for each customer application. Composition, performance characteristics and consumer response data are not published.
