SucroCorp Opens Beverage Formulation Collaboration Center
A dedicated pilot facility allows beverage customers to develop, trial and scale formulations alongside SucroCorp technical staff before committing production capacity.

MARSHALL COUNTY, IND.
SucroCorp today opened a Beverage Formulation Collaboration Center adjacent to its Marshall County facility, giving beverage customers a dedicated environment for formulation development and pilot-scale trials.
The center includes a pilot bottling line, blending and carbonation systems, analytical instrumentation and a small sensory evaluation suite. Customer teams work alongside SucroCorp technical staff through development, trial and scale-up.
“A beverage that works in a beaker does not necessarily work at four hundred bottles a minute,” said Dr. Eleanor Whitfield-Marsh, Executive Vice President, Consumer Nutrition. “Here a customer can find that out in an afternoon instead of in a production run.”
Projects developed at the center may draw on the SucroPlus™ platform and, where a customer elects to participate, on findings from SucroCorp’s consumer panel program.
Customer projects are conducted under confidentiality. Formulations developed at the center remain the property of the customer, with the exception of consumer response data generated during evaluation, which is retained by SucroCorp under standard terms.
Beverage manufacturers interested in scheduling a project may contact SucroCorp Ingredient Sales through the contact directory.
