SucroCorp Corporate Information Center

SucroCorp does not sell to consumers. Our customers are the manufacturers, bottlers and foodservice operators whose products reach the shelf, and our ingredients are supplied by the tanker, the rail car and the tote rather than the package.

Every commercial code is manufactured to a published specification and verified at the producing facility's laboratory before release. Technical service, formulation support and production trial assistance are available across all categories.

Food Processing Ingredients

Beyond sweetening, most of what a manufacturer needs from us concerns behavior: how a product holds together, how it feels, and how long it stays the way it left the line.

  • Texture systems. Starch and hydrocolloid blends engineered for specific mouthfeel, body and cling characteristics across sauces, fillings and dairy.
  • Stabilization products. Emulsion and suspension stabilizers that hold a formulation together through distribution, temperature cycling and shelf life.
  • Moisture management. Humectant systems controlling water activity in baked goods, bars and prepared foods, extending softness well past the point at which a product would otherwise be rejected.
  • Bulking and carrier systems. Maltodextrins and dried glucose solids used as carriers, bulking agents and flow aids in dry blends.

Beverage Solutions

Beverages are the most demanding application we serve. A soft drink is judged in the first half second, and any variation between production runs is noticed immediately by people who could not tell you what they are noticing.

  • Beverage sweetener systems. HFCS-55 and blended systems supplied to bottling specification, with delivery scheduled against production runs.
  • Formulation support. Sweetness profile, acid balance and mouthfeel development conducted with customer teams at our Beverage Formulation Collaboration Center.
  • Pilot and scale-up. Pilot bottling, blending and carbonation systems allow a formulation to be proven at line speed before capacity is committed.

Platform

SucroPlus™

SucroPlus™ represents SucroCorp's next generation of ingredient performance technology, developed to support consistency, satisfaction and repeat consumer preference.

SucroPlus is not a product code. It is what happens when the ingredient, the formulation and what we know about the consumer are designed together rather than separately. Participating customers receive formulation development, on-site technical service during production trials, and access to findings from our consumer research program.

Consistency

Performance held constant across production runs, seasons and facilities, so that a formulation behaves the same way in January as in July.

Satisfaction

Formulation characteristics associated with higher reported satisfaction and with greater caloric acceptance within a serving.

Preference persistence

Slower decline in repeat selection over the first and second year following household adoption, measured through our longitudinal panel.

Specific SucroPlus formulations are developed under confidentiality for each customer application. Composition, performance characteristics and consumer response data are not published. Evaluation requires a technical service agreement.

Technical service

Formulation support at every stage.

From first bench trial to full production run, SucroCorp technical staff work alongside customer teams.
