The company's annual review confirmed that all commercially supplied SucroCorp ingredients meet applicable federal specifications and internal quality standards.

SucroCorp today confirmed the completion of its annual ingredient safety and specification review covering all commercially supplied product codes.

The review verifies conformance with applicable federal food ingredient specifications, customer contract specifications and the company’s internal quality standards. Testing was performed at each processing facility’s on-site laboratory and verified by the central analytical laboratory.

“Every commercial code we ship was tested, and every code passed,” said Priya Raghavan, Vice President, Environment and Facilities. “That is what this review is for, and that is the result we report.”

The review covers corn sweeteners, glucose and corn syrups, texture and moisture management systems, and beverage sweetener systems supplied under commercial codes. Materials produced under research designations are evaluated separately under protocols specific to each program and are not within the scope of this review.

General information about SucroCorp’s quality and safety practices is available on the ingredient safety section of the Food & Nutrition page.
