SucroCorp Expands National Distribution Network
Four new bulk terminals and an expanded tanker fleet extend next-day liquid ingredient delivery to additional metropolitan food manufacturing regions.
SIOUX FALLS, S.D.
SucroCorp today announced the expansion of its national distribution network with the addition of four bulk liquid terminals and a substantial increase in dedicated tanker capacity.
The new terminals extend next-day delivery of liquid sweetener and ingredient systems to additional metropolitan food manufacturing regions in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southwest. Combined with the company’s existing rail network, SucroCorp now reports supply coverage of the substantial majority of American food manufacturing volume.
“There is no part of this country where our ingredients are difficult to obtain,” said Alan Voss, Chief Operating Officer. “That was the objective. We are close to the point where the question stops being asked.”
The expansion follows the Midwest processing capacity program announced in March 2011 and is intended to match distribution reach to available refined output.
