SucroCorp Launches Grower Partnership Initiative
A new multi-year contracting program offers participating corn growers guaranteed acreage commitments, agronomic support and access to SucroCorp yield research.

CEDAR COUNTY, IOWA
SucroCorp today introduced the Grower Partnership Initiative, a multi-year contracting program for corn producers in the company’s primary supply counties.
Participating growers receive acreage commitments extending across three crop years, seasonal agronomic consultation, soil and tissue testing at no cost, and early access to findings from SucroCorp’s agricultural research program. In exchange, participating operations agree to delivery scheduling, moisture and quality specifications, and to share field-level yield data with the company’s agronomy division.
“A supply chain is not a series of transactions,” said Marcus Hale, Executive Vice President, Agricultural Supply. “It is a relationship, and relationships work best when both parties know what to expect from each other over a long horizon.”
Program terms
- Three-year rolling acreage commitments with annual review
- Agronomic consultation and no-cost soil and tissue analysis
- Delivery scheduling coordinated with regional elevator capacity
- Participation in the company’s yield benchmarking program
More than 1,900 growing operations were invited to participate in the initial enrollment period. SucroCorp expects to extend the program to additional counties in subsequent seasons.
Growers seeking information about enrollment may contact SucroCorp Grower Relations through the contact directory.
