SucroCorp today announced a series of multi-year supply agreements extending its ingredient systems into additional institutional foodservice programs.

The agreements cover restaurant groups, school nutrition programs, hospital and long-term care catering, and correctional foodservice operations. Combined, the programs represent a substantial addition to the company’s served meal volume.

“Institutional foodservice is one of the few settings where you can observe the same population, eating from the same menu, over a very long period,” said Alan Voss, Chief Operating Officer. “From a supply planning standpoint that predictability is extremely valuable.”

Participating operators receive bulk ingredient supply on scheduled delivery circuits, menu formulation support through the SucroPlus™ platform, and access to SucroCorp’s category performance reporting.

The company noted that institutional programs will also contribute anonymized consumption pattern data to its population response modeling work, subject to the terms of each operator agreement.
